Every BetterSTR TV device is free to try — on any number of devices, with every feature unlocked. After that you can keep the core welcome experience free forever, or unlock everything with Premium.
How the free trial works
- Your trial is free, with all Premium features switched on, so you can try the whole experience. The current trial length is shown on the pricing page.
- We’ll email you 7 days before the trial ends. You’re never charged automatically.
- If you don’t upgrade, the device simply drops to the Free plan — it keeps working, with everything listed under Free below.
- Premium is $3 per device / month (with Premium Guidebook), or $4 without.
What’s included on Free
The Free plan includes everything that makes a great first impression, and you can make it your own:
- Branded welcome home screen
- Welcome guests by name
- Check-in / check-out times on screen
- One-scan Wi-Fi QR + casting (Google Cast & Apple AirPlay)
- Digital guidebook on the TV
- Your choice of theme (Crisp or Basic), light or dark style, zoom and guidebook layout
- Background music of your choice, with your own volume
- Store: sell your guidebook upsells on the TV
- WiFi QR Marketing and the phone remote
- Local activities, Live TV (channels for your country), the photo-frame screensaver and app tiles — all shown, but set to our defaults
The free plan is supported by an occasional local advert on the screensaver.
