Every BetterSTR TV device is free for its first 3 months — on any number of devices, with every feature unlocked. After that you can keep the core welcome experience free forever, or unlock everything with Premium.
How the free trial works
- Your first 3 months are free, with all Premium features switched on, so you can try the whole experience.
- We’ll email you 7 days before the trial ends. You’re never charged automatically.
- If you don’t upgrade, the device simply drops to the Free plan — it keeps working, just with our default look and the core features below.
- Premium is $3 per device / month (with Premium Guidebook), or $4 without.
What’s included on Free
The Free plan keeps the essentials that make a great first impression, but locks the customisation to our defaults:
- Branded welcome home screen
- Welcome guests by name
- Check-in / check-out times on screen
- One-scan Wi-Fi QR + casting (Google Cast & Apple AirPlay)
- Local activities, background music, the photo-frame screensaver and app tiles — all shown, but locked to our defaults (you can’t customise them on Free)
