If you’re a property management company running on Streamline VRS, you can connect it to BetterSTR to automatically sync your properties and reservations. Every booking then gets its own personalised digital guidebook — with no manual data entry, no matter how many units you manage.
What you’ll need
- A BetterSTR account
- A Streamline Token Key and Token Secret, issued to BetterSTR by your PMC via the Streamline Partner Portal
Steps to Connect Streamline VRS with BetterSTR
Have your PMC issue token credentials
In the Streamline Partner Portal, your PMC issues a Token Key and Token Secret for the BetterSTR integration. If you’re not sure where to find this, your Streamline account representative can point you to it.Log in to BetterSTR
Go to your BetterSTR account and open the Integrations page.Open the Streamline VRS integration
Find Streamline VRS in the list of integrations and click Connect.Enter your credentials
Paste your Token Key and Token Secret into the two fields and click Connect — BetterSTR validates them against Streamline straight away and lets you know if anything is missing.Sync your properties and reservations
Your properties and upcoming reservations sync across automatically, and stay in sync from then on.
Token rotation is handled for you
As a security measure, Streamline rotates integration tokens periodically. BetterSTR manages these renewals automatically — you don’t need to re-enter credentials when Streamline issues a new token, and your connection keeps working without interruption.
What happens after you connect
- Each reservation gets its own guidebook link with the guest’s name and actual check-in / check-out times — drop it into your Streamline guest communications once and every future guest receives their own guide.
- Create reusable guide templates and apply them across your portfolio to keep every unit’s guidebook consistent.
- New units added in Streamline appear in BetterSTR automatically on the next sync.
