Connecting Stripe to your BetterSTR account lets you process payments from guests — including security deposits and upsell products — with funds routed directly to your bank account. The setup takes just a few minutes.
Step 1 — Open the Stripe Connection Setup

Log in to your BetterSTR account.

Navigate to Upsell to Guests.

Click Connect Stripe now to begin the setup process.
Step 2 — Enter Your Business Details in Stripe

Enter your email address when prompted and click Continue.

Complete the short business questionnaire, including:
- Business location
- Account type
- Basic company information

Review each field carefully before submitting.
Before You Start
Have your business details and bank account information ready before beginning. Complete the form in one session — closing the browser before finishing may require you to start over.
Step 3 — Finish Stripe Setup and Return to BetterSTR

Submit the completed Stripe forms.

Wait to be redirected back to BetterSTR.

Confirm that Stripe now shows as connected.

Click Full Stripe dashboard to review your Stripe account details if needed.
Step 4 — Confirm Payment Routing to Your Bank Account

Verify that Stripe is connected successfully.

Confirm that payments received through Stripe will be transferred directly to the bank account you set up during onboarding.

Ensure your bank details are correct in your Stripe dashboard.
Cautionary Notes
- Make sure the email address used for Stripe matches the one you intend to manage the account with.
- Double-check your business location and account type before submitting — incorrect information may delay approval.
- Do not close the browser window until setup is complete and you are redirected back to BetterSTR.
