Hostify is the property management system and channel manager that runs your Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo and direct bookings from one place. BetterSTR reads your listings and bookings and gives each stay a personalised guidebook, a welcome by name on the TV and a WiFi QR code that works first time.
Hostify already holds most of what a guide needs: photos, amenities, house rules, check-in instructions and WiFi. BetterSTR brings all of it across, so your guides start filled in rather than blank.
There is nothing to install. You create an API key in Hostify, paste it into BetterSTR, and your listings come across. Like every BetterSTR integration, it is part of the free plan. The Hostify connection is new, so it is marked beta while the first hosts use it.

Here is exactly what BetterSTR reads from your Hostify account. It never changes your listings or bookings. The only things it writes are each guest's guide link, into a custom field of its own, and a guest message if you set one up (the last two rows).

With Webhooks write on your key, Hostify tells BetterSTR about new, changed and moved bookings within a minute. BetterSTR also double-checks every hour (every 10 minutes if webhooks aren't available), runs a wider check every 6 hours, and re-reads your listings once a day. You don't need to set anything else up.
If you need something now, the Hostify page in BetterSTR has Sync Properties and Sync Reservations buttons, and Sync History pulls in the last three years.
In Hostify, sign in as the account administrator and open the Developer Portal, then API Keys. Create a key with these scopes ticked: Listings read, Reservations read (incl. guest data), Guests read, Webhooks read, Webhooks write, Custom fields read and Custom fields write. Then paste it on the Hostify page in BetterSTR.
Yes. Hostify is your channel manager, so bookings from Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo, Expedia and your direct bookings all come through to BetterSTR, on the right property.
No. Hostify includes API access on its plans, there is nothing to install, and on the BetterSTR side the integration is part of the free plan.
BetterSTR saves each guest's guide link in a Hostify reservation custom field called BetterSTR guide. Add it to your Hostify message templates and it goes out in your own Airbnb and Booking.com messages. Guests with an email address or phone number can also get it from BetterSTR's email and SMS rules.
Only two things: it creates the BetterSTR guide custom field and fills it in on each booking, and it registers webhooks so changes reach it quickly. It never edits your listings, prices, calendar or bookings.
With Webhooks write on your key, changes arrive within a minute, and BetterSTR double-checks every hour either way. To pull a change in straight away, open the Hostify page in BetterSTR and click Sync Reservations.
