Everything you need to connect Smoobu and get your guidebooks live.
To connect, open the Integrations page in the BetterSTR members area, choose Smoobu and paste an API key and secret created in Smoobu under Settings → Advanced → API Keys. BetterSTR validates the pair, then syncs all your properties — name, address, location, rooms, occupancy and amenities — along with your bookings, including guest name, email, phone, party size, arrival and departure times, and booking channel such as Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo, Expedia or direct.
For real-time updates, paste your personal BetterSTR webhook URL (shown on the integration page) into Smoobu's API settings — new bookings, changes and cancellations then arrive within moments, with an hourly sync as backstop. Every request between BetterSTR and Smoobu is individually signed (HMAC) for security.
Yes. All BetterSTR integrations, including Smoobu, are included in the free plan with unlimited properties and guidebooks. You only pay for optional add-ons like SMS, WiFi marketing or a custom domain.
In Smoobu, open Settings → Advanced → API Keys, create an API key and generate its secret. Then in the BetterSTR members area, open Integrations, choose Smoobu and paste both values. Your properties then sync automatically.
Smoobu's API is available with their paid Professional plan. If you don't see the API Keys section under Settings → Advanced in your Smoobu account, contact Smoobu support about API access. The BetterSTR side is free on every plan.
