Connect your Host Port account and every listing gets its own guest guide and TV welcome, with each guest's booking from Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo and your direct bookings.
New: in beta
Host Port is an Australian property management system and channel manager for short-term rental hosts. It runs your Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo, Expedia, Agoda and Google bookings (through Channex), your iCal links and your direct bookings from one place. BetterSTR reads your listings and bookings and gives each stay a personalised guidebook, a welcome by name on the TV and a WiFi QR code that works first time.
Host Port shares each listing's name and timezone, and every booking with the guest's details. You add the rest of the guide (address, photos, WiFi, check-in times, house rules) in BetterSTR once, and syncs never overwrite it.
There is nothing to install. You create a data connection in Host Port, paste its API key into BetterSTR, and your listings come across. Like every BetterSTR integration, it is part of the free plan. The Host Port connection is new, so it is marked beta while the first hosts use it.

Here is exactly what BetterSTR reads from your Host Port account. Host Port's API is read-only, so BetterSTR never changes anything in Host Port.
| Item | Synced? | Details |
|---|---|---|
| Listings | Yes | Each listing in your Host Port connection becomes its own BetterSTR property, with its name and timezone. Listings are re-read once a day: new ones appear automatically, and one removed from the connection is removed from BetterSTR too. |
| Reservations | Yes | Every booking from Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo, Expedia, Agoda, Google, your iCal links and your direct bookings, with its dates, guest numbers, the channel, its status and the total. Cancellations come through as cancelled. |
| Guest name, email and phone | Yes | The guest's name for the TV welcome and the guide, plus their email and phone where the channel shares them. Needs include guest names and contact details turned on in the Host Port connection. Airbnb bookings that reach Host Port through an iCal link carry the guest's name but no email or phone. |
| Address, photos and amenities | No | Host Port doesn't share them. Add them to each property in BetterSTR once; syncs never overwrite them. |
| WiFi name and password | No | Enter them once in BetterSTR to power the WiFi QR code on the guide and the TV. |
| Check-in and check-out times | No | Set them on each property in BetterSTR. |
| House rules and door codes | No | Add them in BetterSTR, where they stay put between syncs. |
| Guide link in Host Port | No | Host Port's API is read-only, so BetterSTR can't save the guide link on the booking or message guests through Host Port. Guides go out by BetterSTR email or SMS, or you send the link yourself. |

Host Port's API is read-only, so BetterSTR can't put the link in your Host Port messages. Guests with an email address or phone number can get it from BetterSTR's email and SMS rules, or you can send the link yourself. For Airbnb bookings that come in through an iCal link there is no email or phone, so send the link through Airbnb messages.
