The easiest connection we've shipped
Most PMS integrations start with a hunt for an API key: which settings page, which plan, who has admin access. Not this one. iGMS connects with OAuth, the same way you'd sign in to an app with Google. In BetterSTR you click Connect, sign in to iGMS, approve the connection, and you're back in BetterSTR with your properties syncing. There is nothing to copy, nothing to paste and nothing to configure on the iGMS side.
What actually syncs
- Properties: name, address, photo gallery, description, amenities, bedrooms, and check-in and check-out times. Everything BetterSTR needs to build a guidebook that already knows your place.
- Bookings, from every channel: guest name, email and phone, stay dates with exact check-in and check-out times, party size, and whether the booking came from Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com or direct.
- Changes, as they happen: when a booking is created, changed or cancelled, iGMS fires a webhook and it lands in BetterSTR within moments. An hourly sync and a daily property refresh run as backstop, so nothing slips through.
Your guides can use all of it through shortcodes: the booking confirmation code, number of guests, booking channel and the exact check-in and check-out times for each stay, plus property-level details from iGMS like your guest-support phone and email and your rules of stay.
It's not just guidebooks
Once iGMS is connected, the whole BetterSTR stack works off the same booking data:
- Digital guidebooks: branded, multi-language, no app download for guests.

How to connect (about two minutes)
- In BetterSTR, go to Integrations → iGMS and click Connect.
- Sign in to iGMS and approve the connection.
- That's it. You're sent straight back to BetterSTR and your properties and bookings sync automatically from then on.
Common questions
Does this cost anything on the BetterSTR side?
No. All BetterSTR integrations, iGMS included, are part of the free plan.
Will it touch my listings, rates or messages?
No. BetterSTR reads your property and booking data to build guides and time guest messages. Your channel connections, pricing and iGMS automations are untouched.
How fresh is the booking data?
Near real-time. iGMS fires a webhook when a booking is created, changed or cancelled, and BetterSTR picks it up within moments. An hourly sync and a daily property refresh catch anything a webhook might miss.
Do guests need to download an app?
No. Guidebook links open in any browser, and the unique per-booking link is generated automatically for every booking that syncs from iGMS.
Can I disconnect later?
Any time, from the same Integrations page in BetterSTR, or by revoking BetterSTR's access inside iGMS.
