Uplisting is a UK-built property management system used by professional hosts and small management companies, many of them in the UK and Australia, who run several listings across Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo and their own direct booking site. Of all the PMSs we connect to, Uplisting hands over some of the richest data: full listing content, per-booking arrival times and the smart-lock code for each stay. That means a BetterSTR guidebook for an Uplisting booking can greet the guest by name, show their own door code and already know your property before you've written a word.

Uplisting's booking webhooks carry the whole booking, not just an ID, so very little has to be fetched separately:

In Uplisting go to Settings, then Connect, or open app.uplisting.io/connect/api directly. The key is already there on every account, nothing to request.
Choose Uplisting on the BetterSTR Integrations page and paste the key. We confirm it with Uplisting before saving anything.
BetterSTR registers its webhooks on your Uplisting account automatically. There's no URL to copy and nothing to configure on the Uplisting side.
Uplisting calls BetterSTR whenever a booking is created, updated or removed, and again when a property is added, edited or removed. Because each booking webhook contains the full booking, the guest's guidebook is ready a few seconds after the booking lands in Uplisting. An hourly sync runs as a safety net in case a webhook is ever missed, and property details are refreshed daily.
Two shortcode menus, Uplisting Fields and Uplisting Res, appear in the guide builder once you connect. A few that hosts use most:

Log in to Uplisting and open Settings, then Connect, or go straight to app.uplisting.io/connect/api. Copy the API Key shown there. It is available on every Uplisting account without a plan upgrade.
No. When you connect, BetterSTR registers its webhooks on your Uplisting account automatically, and removes them again if you disconnect.
Yes. Uplisting includes the lock code on each booking, and the {{uplisting_lock_code}} shortcode shows it in that guest's guide only. If a booking has no code in Uplisting, the shortcode stays empty.
The first import brings in stays checking in from two days ago onwards, up to two years ahead, because those are the guests who need a guide. Past stays aren't imported.
Webhook updates usually land within seconds and the hourly sync catches anything missed. If something still hasn't appeared, open the Uplisting page in BetterSTR and click Sync Reservations.
