Connect your Stays account and every listing gets its own guest guide and TV welcome, filled in from your Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo, Expedia and direct bookings.
New: in beta
Stays (stays.net) is the vacation rental PMS and channel manager from Brazil, also used across Latin America. It keeps your listings and your bookings from Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo, Expedia and your own direct bookings in one place. BetterSTR reads them and gives each stay a personalised guidebook, a welcome by name on the TV and a WiFi QR code that works first time.
There is nothing to install. You switch on the External API in your Stays App Center, paste the client id and client secret into BetterSTR with your Stays account address, and your listings come across.
Like every BetterSTR integration, it is part of the free plan. The Stays.net connection is new, so it is marked beta while the first hosts use it.

Here is exactly what BetterSTR reads from your Stays account. It only reads, unless you switch on guide notes (the last row).
| Item | Synced? | Details |
|---|---|---|
| Listings | Yes | Each Stays listing becomes its own BetterSTR property, with its title, description, the space, the neighbourhood, getting around, address and map location. Draft listings are skipped, and a listing that isn't active in Stays starts switched off. Listings are re-read once a day. |
| Photos | Yes | The listing's main photo and gallery, when Stays shares them. If a listing comes through without photos, add them once in BetterSTR; syncs won't overwrite them. |
| Amenities | Yes | The amenities you ticked on each listing in Stays. |
| House rules | Yes | Smoking, parties and events, pets and quiet hours from the listing's house rules, followed by your own house rules text. |
| Access instructions | Yes | The listing's access text from Stays comes through as your guest access instructions. |
| Check-in and check-out | Yes | Each listing's check-in and check-out times from its booking settings in Stays. A booking with its own times uses those. If neither has a time, BetterSTR uses 3pm and 11am. |
| Timezone and currency | Yes | Stays has no timezone field, so BetterSTR works it out from the address: Brazilian and Mexican states get their own time zone, other countries use the country's. Currency is the listing's currency in Stays. |
| Reservations | Yes | Every booking from every channel, with its dates, adults and children, the channel it came from, the confirmation code and the price. Pre-reservations come through as pending, cancelled bookings as cancelled. Calendar blocks are never imported. |
| Guest name, phone and email | Yes | From the main guest on the booking, or from the guest's client record in Stays when the booking doesn't have them. |
| Door codes | No | Stays doesn't share door codes. Add entry details to your guide once in BetterSTR. |
| WiFi name and password | No | Stays doesn't share WiFi details. Enter them once in BetterSTR to power the WiFi QR code. |
| Guide link (written back) | Optional | Off unless you switch it on. When on, BetterSTR adds the guest's guide link on its own line in the reservation's internal note in Stays, and keeps the rest of your note. Guests get the link by your BetterSTR email or SMS rules either way. |
BetterSTR checks Stays for new, changed and cancelled reservations every 10 minutes, and re-reads your listings once a day. You don't need to set anything up for that.
Want it faster? Stays can send BetterSTR a webhook, but only its support team can switch that on. Your Stays.net page in BetterSTR shows your own webhook URL to send them, and then changes arrive within a minute or two.
If you need something now, the Stays.net page in BetterSTR has Sync Properties and Sync Reservations buttons, and Full Sync pulls in the last three years.
In Stays, open App Center, then Stays API, and switch on External API. It shows the client id (login) and client secret to paste into BetterSTR. If you can't see it, ask Stays support for External API credentials.
Yes. Stays is your channel manager, so bookings from Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo, Expedia and your direct bookings in Stays all come through to BetterSTR.
No. There is nothing to install, and on the BetterSTR side the integration is part of the free plan. Stays may charge for its External API.
By email or SMS with your BetterSTR notification rules. If you like, BetterSTR can also add the link to the internal note on each Stays reservation, so your team can find it there.
Yes. Ask Stays support to switch on External API webhook notifications for your account and send them the webhook URL shown on your Stays.net page in BetterSTR. Changes then arrive within a minute or two.
BetterSTR checks Stays every 10 minutes, so most changes appear within that time. To pull it in straight away, open the Stays.net page in BetterSTR and click Sync Reservations.
Your Stays address, a client id and a client secret, and your next guest has a guide.
