With the BetterSTR Property Swap Program, you no longer have to wait for a direct match. Instead, when you host another member, you earn credits that can be used towards a stay at any participating property—on your schedule, in the location you actually want to visit.
Even better, the system is designed to benefit both sides. The first night's stay is fully covered by credits (if they have enough credit), while additional nights can be partially covered (percentage value set by the host) by credits, ensuring you still receive direct income while accumulating value for future travel.
Prefer to just do a swap? no worries, our system will match the two parties and then there is no exchange in credits. A host must enable they want to accept direct swaps this is because to offen swaps can be time consuming trying to match dates, match location of the swap, matching value, etc.

If you decline a booking request, credit accumulation stops until you accept another stay.
Know that the system will be there when you need it, we will weed out and deprioritize hosts not participating fairly.
Credits can fully cover your first night’s stay, or the entire booking, depending on the hosts settings, making booking more accessible and rewarding.
Know that you will always be paying less than if booking via Airbnb, way less! Pay for the entire stay with credits, if the host accepts this as a policy.
Each host sets their own credit redemption limits for extra nights, giving flexibility to all participants and ensuring you can pay your cleaners in real cash.
If your credits don’t cover the full stay, just pay the discounted difference directly to the host.
